"Dan Clowes says there were over 100 minis done at Earwax (a Chicago restaurant) with Terry LaBan, Gary Leib, Doug Allen, Archer Prewitt, or Chris Ware, but fewer than 20 percent were photocopied. None of these have been collected. All of the printed Earwax collaborations date from 1991-1994. This doesn't mean, however, that collaborations didn't happen earlier. Clowes left Chicago in 1994."
