"The Hyde Park Art Center presents Comix Chicago, a group exhibition of work by artists who expressly use the city of Chicago as a backdrop for their stories. Seven artists will show a wealth of work, including some pieces in the early stages of production, revealing thought, process, and the urban landscape as integral aspects of their work as comic artists. Artists presented in Comix Chicago include Jessica Abel (La Perdida), Ivan Brunetti (Schizo), Daniel Clowes (Eightball), David Heatley (Deadpan), Archer Prewitt (Sof�Boy), Chris Ware (Jimmy Corrigan), and Erik Wenzel (Stalker)."
