Adam Baumgold Gallery presents the exhibition "Art on Art" from May 17 through June 25, 2011. The exhibition will feature drawings, paintings and sculpture by 28 artists that reference art and other artworks, transforming them within these artists' own signature styles and motifs. These are reverential interpretations, and not concerned with direct appropriation. The artists included in the exhibition are Chris Ware, Marilyn Minter, Richard Prince, Rafael Ferrer, Saul Steinberg, John Wesley, Tom Burckhardt, Molly Springfield, Tom Wesselmann, Deborah Kass, Robin Tewes, Mark Kostabi, William Powhida, Ray Johnson, George Deem, Joe Brainard, Duncan Hannah, Dan Fischer, Leidy Churchman, Andrew Grassie, Adam Dant, John Clem Clarke, Amer Kobaslija and Simon Linke.
